Keeping score and adding play-by-play are two great ways to enhance the game day experience. They are especially great for keeping remote fans, or fans unable to attend the game, up-to-speed with the action at the game. And if the game is not live streamed, it may be the only way to know what’s going on.
Since keeping score and adding play-by-play is usually done on-site at the game by an admin, and admins cannot always attend every game, GroupSpot makes it easy for admins to give non-admin members the opportunity to take on this responsibility for the group. This is a great solution for those one off times you need an extra hand, and people are usually thrilled to pitch in with something this important to the group.
For admins, assigning these permissions to non-admin members is easy, here’s how:
1. Open up your Member Directory.
2. Open the profile of the member you want to give the ability to keep score and play-by-play.
3. Tap the Manage Member button.
4. Tap the Role row.
5. Under Member, toggle on Add Scores & Play-by-Play.
6. Tap the back arrow to save and exit out to your member directory.
7. Enjoy the game.
