Group chats are fun and easy to use on GroupSpot. They include every single member of your group and are great for general conversation and questions. Let’s look at how to start a group chat on mobile and web:
1. Locate and select the Chat icon in your lower navigation.
2. You will find two tabs up top, Personal and Group. Make sure the group tab is selected to access group chat.
3. Tap the + at the top right of this screen to access and/or add a group chat.
4. At this point, if you belong to more than one group, you will need to pick which group you want to chat with.
5. Once selected, choose the green CHAT button to initiate or join a group chat.
6. For owners and admins only, accessing group chat is also available from Communications inside your Group Menu.
7. When you open your communications, select Chat to initiate your group chat.
When using GroupSpot on the web, your chat panel may already be open. If your browser view is widescreen, Chat will always be open and available in the right-most column.
If your browser view is narrow, GroupSpot will automatically adjust and could reduce the number of visible columns. In this case, Chat will live as an icon to select in your lower navigation similar to the mobile experience.\Once you’ve selected the
