RSVP is an essential tool for getting an accurate headcount for any event or competition. They’re easy to add to any post and easy for any Owner or Admin to adjust. One of the most common use cases is assigning an RSVP to a member. This is especially helpful when someone gives you a verbal confirmation RSVP and you want to make everyone aware of their response. Let’s take a close look at how you would assign an RSVP.
1. From your feed, tap into the post with the RSVP.
2. Tap the RSVPs tab at the top of the new screen to access the full RSVP list.
3. Scroll down to the No Reply list of names and locate the member you would like to assign their RSVP.
4. Tap on the ••• to the right of the member to open a menu and choose Assign RSVP.
5. Choose your RSVP response, Add Guests (optional), and leave an Optional Note. Then CONFIRM RSVP.
6. Once selected, the member will move from the No Reply list of names to either the Yes or No list of names depending on how you RSVP’d on her behalf.
Once you’ve assigned the RSVP, it’s equally easy to unassign the RSVP if things change. Just follow the same instructions above and notice that when you tap the ••• next to the RSVP you want to remove, the menu will now read Undo Your RSVP which removes the RSVP response and moves the member back into the No Reply status.
Assigning and unassigning RSVPs works not only for other members, but it also works for yourself if you have RSVP’d and then suddenly have to change your status. These tools provide an easy way to keep a close tabs on your RSVP list.
