Running a group is hard work. To lessen the load, most groups have more than one owner and admin to help share the responsibility. An Owner can promote Members to Admin or Co-Owner status at any time.
1. From your group’s home screen, open your group menu at the top of your screen and choose Members from the menu options.
2. Select the member from the directory of names and open their member profile.
3. Then tap the blue Manage Member button in the middle of the screen.
4. Under the Membership header, you will find a row titled Role which is defaulted to Member. Select that row to access a new page where you will find options to promote your member to Admin or Co-Owner.
Keep in mind that once a member is promoted to a co-owner, you cannot demote them
