GroupSpot allows you to send different types of communications to Subgroups within an existing group or Sister Groups to like groups to keep the right people updated.
1. From your group’s home screen, open your group menu and choose Communications.
2. Choose your preferred communication type from the menu of options: Push Notification, In-App Alert, or Email.
Once you’ve chosen your desired communication and prepared your message, it’s time to choose your audience with Subgroups or Sister Groups. Here you will find your list of Subgroups and where you can Notify Sister Groups. Note that subgroups communications are set to send to All Subgroups by default.
1. Start by choosing the appropriate subgroups within your existing group that you want to receive this communication. You can have up to ten subgroups to choose from.
2. If you want to reach a sister group with your communication, tap on Notify Sister Groups. From your list of available sister groups, choose the group you would like to crosspost this communication.
3. You can narrow your communication even further by selecting subgroups within the selected sister group.
4. Once your Audience has been determined, select DONE to return back to your message screen to SEND your communication.
