The leadership of any group changes over time. A season ends, a term expires, or it’s just time to move on, but the best groups carry on with a new leadership team. As part of this transition, it’s important for current owners and admins to be able to step down when their time has ended.
1. From your group’s home screen, open your group menu at the top of your screen and choose Group Settings.
2. Scroll to the bottom of your settings and locate and select Actions.
3. Select Step Down as Owner if you're looking to demote yourself from your current role to either Admin or Member status and then click Yes to confirm.
