A good Member Directory starts with knowing who belongs to your group and how to contact them, especially when members are not always in your personal contacts. GroupSpot captures all the key details which are easy to update in your profile settings.
There are two ways to access your Member Directory:
1. You can select the people icon just below your group header image on your group’s home screen.
2. OR you can open your group menu from your home screen and then select Members from the menu options.
Once opened, you will find the total number of members of your group and an easy access Invite button at the top of the screen.
Just below that appears a Search box to look for members. This is an especially helpful feature for larger groups.
In terms of organization, Owners and Admins sit at the top of the member directory while the Members are listed below.
Owners can append titles/roles to Admins and Members after their name appears in the directory. Owners can add appropriate titles/roles such as “President,” “Treasurer,” or “Head Coach.”
Just below your Owners and Admins, you have the ability to sort your member list by first and last name and when the member joined.
If your group uses subgroups, smaller groups within the larger group, your membership can be sorted by appropriate subgroups.
Click into any member of the group to view their personal profile or tap the chat icon to initiate a one-to-one chat.
