Recurring Events let you schedule events that repeat automatically on your calendar. Whether it’s monthly board meetings, biweekly rehearsals, or weekly practices, you can populate your calendar with a single event post. You can edit all occurrences at once or make changes to individual instances as needed. Simple to set up and easy to manage, here’s how to get started:
1. From your group’s home screen, open the create post dropdown in the upper navigation and select Create an Event to get started. Enter an Event Title and Details, then turn on the Recurring toggle. From there, choose your frequency, such as Weekly, Biweekly, or Monthly, and select the day or days you want the event to repeat.

2. Choose the Start and End Time for your event. For instance, practice may run 6-7:30 pm Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Then select Repeat Until to open the calendar to choose your recurring event end date.

3. Once you’ve locked in the recurring period, you can add a Location, RSVP, and Status as appropriate. Then set your custom Reminders. These come as emails or push notifications and can be set to automatically remind your group of your upcoming events.
4. One final but important step is choosing your Post Display. The default setting for a recurring event is to display on your Calendar Only so you don’t overwhelm your feed with multiple future events at once. But this can easily be changed to display on your Calendar & Feed as well.

5. For events living on your calendar that are quickly approaching, you can easily move them from the calendar to your main feed by changing your post display.
Once you’ve filled in your recurring event details, hit the green POST button to publish your events.
