”Cannon Music Camp at Appalachian State University had our inaugural year using GroupSpot this past summer, 2025. Over the 57 years of camp we’ve certainly invented and re-invented many ways to communicated and support our music campers during the three-week experience. We found that GroupSpot, had many features that worked tremendously well for our communication needs. The feed experience, the ability to share photos, and the ability to reach out to students via the app without utilizing their personal numbers was exceptional. For our purposes we created a daily announcement slide on Canva and linked it a a news feed update. We also liked the ability to add our concerts to the calendar and be able to upload photos to each event so that we have a much better way to sort through photos post-camp to use for promotion in social media.
