Most groups have multiple Owners or Admins running their group. There are many reasons behind this. Someone might set up the group, but have no intention of running the group, and thus, deputize someone else to run the group. Another group may want multiple Admins to run the group to split the workload. Or, there may be legacy Owners or Admins who have passed the baton to the next organizer, but have not yet relinquished their title inside the group.
For these reasons and more, unexpected organizer actions can happen inside your group. Someone may accidentally delete a post or several posts. Someone may edit someone else’s comment. An Owner may approve or reject certain members from joining the group. And finally, when organizers use the group avatar to post instead of their personal avatar, you don’t actually know who created that post.
For these reasons, GroupSpot created an Actions Log inside your Settings to document each of these actions. This log removes the mystery behind these actions, providing your team of organizers instant accountability from knowing who made the change in question.
Here’s how Organizers can access their Actions Log:
1. Open your group menu and tap Settings
2. Scroll down and tap Actions Log under Admin Settings
Organizer actions appear in date order in this running Actions Log. So whenever you need to know who took one of these actions, the Actions Log provides that necessary accountability.
