Sometimes situations arise and you need to block someone in a chat. This can happen in a 1:1 chat or multi-person chat. GroupSpot makes it easy to take this important action as well as make it easy to unblock this person as well if you change your mind.
1. From your Chat home screen, select the Personal tab up top.
2. Choose the individual 1:1 chat or multi-person chat which has the member you want blocked.
3. Tap the gear icon in the top right to open your menu of chat options.
4. Select the ••• right of the individual’s name and select Block (NAME) from the menu.
5. When the confirmation appears, select the blue Block button to block this member. This member has now been blocked.
6. To unblock this same member, return to your main chat screen and tap the ••• at the top left.
7. Select View Blocked Members from the menu.
8. Select the blocked member from your list of blocked members and Unblock (NAME) to undo.
