Knowing who has viewed your posts is an important piece of information for organizers running a group. A nonprofit leader may want to see which trustees viewed a post, a coach with his players, or even a marching band director and his music students.
With the tap of a button, Owners and Admins can quickly and easily see who has viewed their post content on a post-by-post basis directly from their feed. Here’s how.
1. Locate the post you want to check who has viewed the content.
2. Tap the Views button on the bottom of your post.
3. On the new screen, your members are listed in alphabetical order by first name. They either have a green check mark if they have viewed the post or a red x if they have not viewed the post.
4. Scroll through the list to see who has and hasn’t seen your post and take appropriate action.
5. If you have a large group of members, use the Search box to type in a member’s name to quickly pull them up to check their viewing status.
This post viewing feature is only available to Owners and Admins of a group. The feature was designed so that organizers would get a better sense of who is viewing their important post content, making it an invaluable tool when running a large, organized group.
This feature is not visible to members. GroupSpot respects the privacy of its members which is why the feature is limited in scope.
