The Admins of a group will dictate who can post and comment in your group. Some people like open groups where everyone has an equal voice, but others prefer top down, admin-provided communications. The good news is that if you change your mind, it‘s easy to change.
1. If you’re an Owner of a group, this question is asked during the group creation process. There you will see a few options to choose from depending on how open or closed you want your posting and commenting privileges: a) Everyone b) Admins post, all can comment c) Admins only d) Admins post, comments are disabled.
2. Again, if you change your mind after the fact, you can access the same menu of choices in your privacy settings. To navigate there, choose Group Settings from your group menu and then select Privacy.
Make the choice appropriate for you and your group depending on the engagement you’re looking for.
